Every story begins with a connection — ours began back in 2015.

Two young women working in the same IT firm, bonded instantly while hunting for an apartment. What started as a simple roommate arrangement soon grew into a friendship built on shared curiosity, late-night conversations, and one obsession that never changed: our love for fabrics, sarees, and personal style.

From day one, we found ourselves irresistibly drawn to the newest textiles, colours, and drapes.

Nidhi had an effortless sense of style – the kind that turned heads without trying. Though her heart had always belonged to fashion designing, circumstances kept her from pursuing it professionally. Deep down, she harbored a dream: to start something of her own, create a label, and make a real difference.

Aparna, on the other hand, had a natural eye for aesthetics and creating styles that work. She could instinctively envision what suits whom, and loved picking the perfect drapes for friends and family. Even after moving abroad, her passion for fabrics never dimmed – every visit home meant exploring textiles and styling loved ones for moments big and small.

Years later, during a casual catch-up, we realised something important:

The spark was never lost.

Our passion was still alive — maybe stronger than ever.

So we asked ourselves: Why not turn this love into something meaningful? Something that helps others feel as beautiful and confident in their drapes as we always felt?

And that’s how our venture was born - APNI (Ours, and now, yours.)

What began as shared curiosity is now evolving into a dream —

starting with curated saree picks, and one day growing into our own design studio and production house.
